                         fast-acting, side-hung, bi-folding door

Swift by name, swift by nature. The Swift door is a side-hung, fast-acting, bifolding door ideally suited for emergency service appliance bays and other industrial applications where reliability, speed of operation, durability and security are fundamental.

Automatic operation takes only seven seconds from closed to fully open - regardless of size, and in the event of power failure, or for hand-operated doors, manual operation is effortless, allowing full access in as little as two seconds. No other door will give you this speed of operation and full security at all times.

  • Available in seven different leaf configurations, with any combination of one, two or three leaves hinged to one or both jambs.
  • All configurations are designed to fold behind the opening, requiring headroom of 150mm and side room of 180mm.
  • Two-leaf configurations can be power operated using quiet FAAC electro-hydraulic operators with builtin anti-crushing safety devices.
  • Configurations containing one or three leaf sections are manually operated, and odd leaves can be fitted with lever furniture and lock to allow full height pedestrian access from inside and out.
  • Fully compliant with the safety standards BS EN 12604 and BS EN 12453.

Key features

  • Automatic closing for immediate security
  • Effortless and instant manual operation
  • No bottom track - leaving clear threshold
  • Closes around crane rails, overhead cables or conveyors
